Position: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Reports to Title: VP, N.A. Controller and Finance

Department/Division: Finance

Primary Work Location: Bloomington, MN

Position Overview:
The FP&A Manager will own all aspects of planning, operations, and strategy for finance projects. This position is responsible for bridging finance, strategy, and operations, and will have significant interactions with company leadership. As part of the finance team, this position will work with every department in the company and assist all parts of the organization in their growth.

• Provide data-driven guidance to leaders on the company’s financial performance, major investments, and new growth opportunities.
• Support strategic decisions, resource allocation, and capital planning.
• Build and manage the company’s financial model and annual budget with functional leaders.
• Create and run standardized financial, business metrics, and ROI reporting.
• Improve financial processes and controls across the organization.
• Partner with accounting and provide support to the Controller where necessary.

Competencies: (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

• Self-motivated, organized, and accountable, with the ability to balance time and see projects through to completion.
• Ability to synthesize information quickly, distill important takeaways, and tell a compelling story.
• Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Google/MS Suite user.
• Experience using data analysis tools (i.e. Looker, Sigma, PowerBI).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize pivot tables and V-lookups as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule with the ability to work longer days during month close and other busier times.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of finance and operations experience preferably at a high-growth company or business unit of a larger company.
• And/or 3+ years of investing, strategic consulting, or investment banking experience.
