Are you passionate about developing suppliers and driving quality excellence in a global manufacturing setup?

At Maersk Container Industry (MCI) in Tinglev, we are looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Manager to lead our supplier quality and development efforts.

MCI is located in Tinglev in the Southern part of Danmark, close to Sønderborg, Kolding, and Flensburg. We have strong local roots but act on a truly global stage. As Supplier Quality Manager, you will lead and develop our supplier quality team, working closely with our Chinese counterparts to ensure alignment and continuous improvement across sites. You will play a key role in managing supplier audits, supporting volume alLokation decisions with data-driven insights, and developing supplier performance evaluation tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop the supplier quality organization in MCI Danmark
• Drive global supplier audits and evaluations for both development projects and existing suppliers
• Support supplier volume alLokation decisions with data-driven insights
• Develop and maintain supplier performance evaluation tools in collaboration with global teams
• Support the development of key component specifications and mitigation of root causes
• Ensure continuous development of team capabilities and engagement
• Contribute to overall quality strategy and improvement initiatives

You are an experienced quality professional with a background in supplier management, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment. You thrive in a global role, leading teams across cultures and time zones, and enjoy collaborating with both technical and commercial stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you most likely:

• have 5+ years of team lead or management experience
• are experienced with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems
• have a strong understanding of quality tools and processes
• are fluent in English (spoken and written)
• have strong analytical and communication skills
• preferably hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification
