Are you an experienced and certified technician with a background in aircraft painting? We are currently seeking new Paint Shop Technicians to join us as soon as possible and take an important role in our facilities in Sønderborg and Billund, Danmark. As a Painter in the aircraft hangar, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting tasks are completed in accordance with aviation maintenance standards and safety regulations. You will also coordinate with other departments, manage repair actions, and optimize workflows within the shop to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate between the hangar and shops to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform repair actions based on the review of CMMs (Component Maintenance Manuals)
  • Maintain compliance with PART 145 standards
  • Oversee 3PM (Third-Party Maintenance) procedures
  • Optimize the shop environment and workflow
  • Order MRQs (Material Requests) for IRO (Inspection and Repair Orders), defects, and REWOs (Repair Work Orders)
  • Execute IRO, defects, and REWO tasks in compliance with relevant procedures
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of expiry dates for commercial products
  • Ensure all spare parts are properly labelled (red, green tags, and labels)
  • Maintain a presentable and organized workshop
  • Perform self-audits based on PART 145 standards
  • Complete tasks according to the latest revision of the CMM
  • Adhere to safety regulations while performing work
Qualifications
  • Certified in spray painting for the Stilling in Billund, experience with composite materials is also preferred.
  • Completed courses in Human Factors and Epoxy (or related training)
  • Familiar with aviation maintenance standards and documentation (CMM, AMM, SRM)
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English
  • Ability to work independent and effectively in a team
  • Skilled in using paint shop tools, protective gear and compliance systems
Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in aircraft painting or high-standard industrial painting
