About the Role
As an Accountant in the Chr. Olesen Group, you will have the daily responsibility for managing the finances of one or more of our international subsidiaries.
Your primary tasks will include:
Posting and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Posting and payment of travel expenses and other cash expenses
VAT reporting in accordance with local legislation in the countries where Chr. Olesen operates
Budgeting and budget follow‑up
Payroll accounting
Daily communication with colleagues and stakeholders around the world regarding accounting and financial matters
Monthly and quarterly financial closing, including depreciations and accruals
Depending on your experience within IT, you will also take part in our projects and development tasks, where we continuously work on optimizing our digital workflow.
Keys Skills for Success:
We are looking for a profile with a minimum of 3 years of experience from a similar role and/or an education within accounting, e.g., Financial Controller or experience from audit.
We also expect that you:
Have experience with international payroll, VAT, and tax processes
Have strong attention to detail and strive for accuracy
Are proactive and committed to delivering professional service
Thrive in an environment where daily tasks vary depending on the needs of our external stakeholders
Speak, write, and read English fluently. If you also speak Danish, German, Spanish, or other languages, it will be an advantage
Have experience with Power BI, Navision, Business Central and/or other ERP systems
Are interested in or have experience working across countries and cultures
Are structured and curious to learn more
