Your role in our team

As an Intern in Supply Chain, you will experience a variety of tasks and have the opportunity to practice your theoretical skills. You will develop, implement, and follow‑up on various projects, processes, and activities and become an active partner working with responsibility for own tasks.

Moreover, you will become part of a Virksomhed with many engaged, knowledgeable and international employees. You will also grow professionally alongside other passionate interns and students as part of the internal talent pipeline.

Sourcing & Procurement play pivotal roles in shaping the culture within the department and influencing day‑to‑day operations, and we pride ourselves on always having an open work environment where we help each other stay focused, committed, and motivated to deliver value to our colleagues throughout Terma.

Supply Chain consists of multiple departments striving towards the same overall end goal; to support the growth of Terma.

Planning
  • As an intern in Planning, you will gain hands‑on experience with production planning in close collaboration with the planning team and production managers. You will support day‑to‑day planning and coordination activities to ensure on‑time delivery and smooth production flow. Additionally, you will contribute to improving the use of our ERP system and help optimize daily planning processes.
Planning & Data Insights
  • As an intern in Planning & Data Insights, you will support the team responsible for driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process at Terma. You will work closely with stakeholders across R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain to support forecasting, scenario planning, and data‑driven decision‑making. Your tasks may range from backend data modelling (e.g. SQL) to analytics and visualization in tools such as Power BI, helping turn complex data into actionable insights.
Procurement
  • As an intern in Procurement, you will support the team in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries of the right quality to our factories. You will gain insight into inventory management, purchasing parameters, and daily procurement operations, while learning how procurement adapts and communicates needs in a dynamic and growing organization.
Sourcing
  • As an intern in Sourcing, you will support the team responsible for managing supplier relationships and contractual frameworks. You will gain exposure to negotiations, supplier collaboration, and stakeholder interaction, while helping ensure a strong and resilient supplier setup. The role involves close daily cooperation with colleagues across the organization, making the internship both varied, dynamic, and learning‑focused.

So are you a student currently studying a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within e.g. B2B, Supply Chain or Business Intelligence we look forward to hearing from you.   • Are excellent at communicating, both verbally and written in English, and understand the importance of cross‑functional cooperation
  • Can conduct complex analyses
  • Have experience with the entire Microsoft Office package such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self‑driven and able to work independently - not stopped by challenging tasks

The key point to success as an Intern is to show commitment, work with passion both in groups and independently. As a person, you are outgoing, proactive, curiosity, and show initiative in the daily work. It is crucial that you solve your tasks within set deadlines and with strong focus on quality and detail, of course in close cooperation with your colleagues. You work in a structured manner and can coordinate and manage several things at the same time without losing track.
