Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established Danish Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Senior Power/Gas Analyst to join the growing Energy team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Focus on trading the Nordic power and gas markets, analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
• Working alongside the trading desk.
• Working on long-term trading opportunities (not intraday/short term)
• Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
• Refine, and develop trading strategies.
• Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
• Role reports into the Director of Nordic Power Trading.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Having a broad understanding of international and Nordic power/gas fundamentals.
• Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
• 3+ years of relevant power/gas analyst experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Master's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
• Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
• Located in Danmark.
