Job Description

Are you passionate about creating sounds for new dimensions in play experiences?

Bring your experience, expertise and ears to help innovate and shape exciting new sonic frontiers throughout the LEGO universe.

Core Responsibilities

In this role as a Sound Designer you are bringing interactive products to market by designing playful and viable connected experiences, creating and designing products that delight and inspire our audiences globally. You will:

• Create unique, original audio assets from scratch

• Adhere to and assist in iteration of design documents, briefs and existing brand directives

• Innovate new design strategies within challenging limitations

• Execute and finalize quality assurance to the highest standard across various formats

• Support multiple projects as needed on both creative and technical capacities and participate in design of prototypes

We are reimagining the boundaries of Interaction Design and how sounds can be an active part to transform the play experience.

You will join the Interaction Design Team in Billund, Danmark, who are driving and supporting interactive play innovation for novelty product experiences. As a Sound Designer you will demonstrate leading-edge design, technological innovation and approach problem-solving in a caring, fun, and creative way through solid cooperation and communication with Interaction Design and key partners across the organization

Do you have what it takes?

To thrive in this Stilling, you have:

• A handful of years of work experience demonstrating expertise to design, conceptualize, prototype, and implement Sound Design to both digital and physical play experience

• Theoretical background in Sound Design or other relevant fields

• Proven skills in the areas below are preferable:

o Soundscapes, SFX, Foley, and immersive audio

o Synthesis methods, theory, & audio physics

o Music comStilling & Digital Audio Workstations (DAW)

o Procedural audio & prototyping (Max/MSP, Unity)

o Gaming/interactive audio (WWISE, FMOD)

o Audio Engineering (Recording, Mixing, Mastering
